Tea Ceremony

The tea ceremony is an art form with centuries of history. Created by Buddhist monks, it has preserved and brought to us an important part of Japanese medieval culture. During the master class, a tea master will tell you about tea culture in Japan, the role the ceremony plays in modern society, and demonstrate the process of brewing and serving tea. You will be able to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of medieval Japan, brew tea yourself, and then taste it with traditional Japanese sweets called 'wagashi'.
